ZnSe (Zinc selenide)
Zinc Selenide is an optical material that can transmit in a wide wavelength band which covers from near-infrared to far-infrared radiation.
ZnSe is used to laser / infrared-related optical technologies.
It is also the only optical material that can be applied to related devices with CO2 lasers so that it is core material for laser components that is required in car, medical devices, semiconductors for commercial businesses. Especially for defense industry, ZnSe is important materials because it is a core material for EOTS, thermal imaging camera loaded on missiles, fighter planes.
